Hello Everyone, I have been a school counselor now for twelve incredible years and an educator for fourteen years. I love working with students, teachers, and families and when I am not spending time with my wife, three year old son and twelve year old step-daughter I am working at Cal Baptist University teaching the school counseling program to prospective school counselors. I love sharing about what I do and helping others find their passion and their voice. I enjoy boogie boarding at the beach and playing soccer with my son. My favorite sport is football and I love documentaries. I wish you all a blessed school year and good health to you all and your families!! Visit my Virtual Counseling Office by clicking here.

Hi everyone,
I am a Mexican American, first  generation female. Yo hablo español! I grew  up in Perris, CA. I started my education  experience in 2013 when I worked at an  after-school program. Throughout the years, I have worked as an AVID Tutor, day care member and substitute teacher. I obtained two Associates Degrees in Liberal Studies from Mt. San Jacinto Community College in May 2015. I later transferred and graduated from CSU San Marcos in December 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies. Finally, I obtained a Master's degree in School Counseling from CSU Long Beach in May 2020. I enjoy spending time with my family and online shopping! I am excited to support our students’ needs. Visit my Virtual Counseling Office by clicking here.

Career Technical Education (CTE) Resources

At Corona-Norco Unified School District, we have Career Technical Education (CTE) Pathways for our students to be best prepared for their future. It's never too early to ask yourself how you want to make a difference in this world!  Career Technical Education provides students of all ages with the academic and technical skills, knowledge, and training necessary to succeed in future careers and to become lifelong learners.

In total, about 12.5 million high school and college students are enrolled in CTE across the nation. CTE prepares these learners for the world of work by introducing them to workplace competencies, and makes academic content accessible to students by providing it in a hands-on context (source: www.careertech.org/cte).
